Polaris is the name of polar star which guides the seamen. this huge piece, 40 tons, was placed on Santurtzi Maritime Walkway. With the leftover of sculpture was created an other part of the sculpture with waves shape which was submerged in sea to have special patina. This piece will be rescued and installed in another side of mentioned maritime walk.
Installation was pretty complex, the piece is standing only on its thickness of 80 milimeters. STEEL AND PAINTED STEEL
